Use a quote request when you need pricing for a new shipment. It centralizes routing details, commodity data, and any special requirements.
Lifecycle
- Create the quote request with shipment, commodity, and collaboration details.
- Pricing is collected or calculated by your team.
- The quote request can be submitted or converted directly into a booking.
Required data
At minimum, most quote requests include:
- Transport type and route
- Origin and destination (ports or addresses)
- Commodity name and handling flags
- Container or truck details (if applicable)
